He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Farrell and Mary Farrell; his brother Michael Farrell; his father-in-law Robert Rogers; and his brother-in-law Paul Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn; his sons, Christopher (Lori) and Jonathan (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Skylar, Clara, Cameron and Caroline; his mother-in-law Marilyn Rogers; his sisters-in-law, Rexann Farrell and Brenda Rogers; and his family Duke University Hospital. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
