It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Omer Evans (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Earle Evans and Carol Shields Evans; and his wife Kristine Margaret Ladd Evans. He is survived by: his children, Heather Hood (David) of Alabama, Kari Powers (Mike) of North Carolina, Jeffrey O. D. Evans (Debra Stinson) of Washington, Nathan Evans (Ashlie Bird) of Tennessee and Suzi Mach (Quinton) of Washington; and his siblings, Stephanie Gaissert (George) of South Carolina, Jana Behlen of Kansas and Kevin Evans of Oklahoma. He is also survived by grandpa and great-grandpa, with numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
