She was predeceased by: her husband Doug Green; her mother Dorothy Mae Shaw; her grandparents, Edgar and Kathleen Nance; and her brothers, Steven Shaw and Timothy Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Modlin (Lavonda) of Waynesville and Sheila Stuart of Burlington; her grandchildren, Christian Modlin (Ashleigh), Taylor Terry, Zoe Dean and Makenna Modlin; her great grandchildren, Xander and Maybin Modlin; and her sisters, Cathy Layne of Burlington and MaryEllen Guthrie of Burlington. She is also survived by family members and dear friends.
