She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Raymond Tate; her parents, Joseph Johnson and Wonnie Johnson; and her siblings, Johnny Johnson, Mildred Wall and Vicky Marks Brinkley.

She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Daniel Tate (Beverly) of Rock Hill, SC, David Wayne Tate of Pompano Beach, FL and Joey Allan Tate of Sicklerville, NJ.; her grandsons, Allan Tate, Michael Tate, Jeffrey Tate (Heather) and Joshua Tate (Caitlin); and her great grandchildren, Lucy and Joshua Jr..

She loved her iPad which gave her great enjoyment during the 2 years of Covid.
