We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2023, at the age of 87, JoAnn Pethel Barber Sutton (Burlington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruner Wertz Pethel and Mary Cline Pethel; her husband Marion Sutton; her son Carl Barber; her granddaughters, Mary Clarice and Rebecca Lynn; her sisters, Ruth Blackwelder and Sue Foster; and her pet Ginger.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Barber (Brenda), Gary Barber (Tammy West), Lisa Shelton (Barry) and Chris Barber; and her granddaughter Makayla Barber. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
