It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Preston Silvey (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Archie Silvey and Lois Preston Silvey. He is survived by: his significant other Patsy "Pat" Silvey; his stepdaughter April Schamberg (Eric); his stepgrandchildren, Emery and Julian; his stepson Wesley Berrier (Angie); and his stepgrandson Jake Berrier (Lindsay). He is also survived by loving children and grandchildren and his wonderful parents.
