He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Perkinson and Myrtle Finch; and his siblings, Elizabeth Patterson, Ruby Stephens, James, Ralph, Hubert and Gene Perkinson.
He is survived by: his son Michael C. "Perk" Perkinson (Lisa); his granddaughter April Perkinson Qualls (Justin); his stepgrandchildren, Kristyn Saul Lindley (Austin) and Dustin Saul (Haley); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Lainey and Lincoln Qualls; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Declan, Berklynn Lindley, Emmie and Carter Saul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Authocare Collective, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC.
