It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Albert Byrd Sr. (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gattis Byrd; and his son John Byrd Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Byrd; his wife Jackie; his daughter Kimberly Byrd; his grandchildren, John III, Allie and Johna Byrd; and his brothers, Michael Byrd (Sharon) of Burlington and Tommy Byrd (Jennifer) of Burlington.
