He was predeceased by: his father John Cager Crumpler, Sr.; his son John Christopher Crumpler; and his brothers, James A. Crumpler and Larry W. Crumpler. He is survived by: his wife Angie (Angie); his sons, Greg Crumpler of Raleigh and David Jones of Burlington; his grandchildren, Hunter Crumpler of Raleigh, Ean Jones and Emmy Jones of Burlington; and his sisters, Brenda Wyrick (Stan) of Elon and Faye Locke of Lexington. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
