It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Gray Currin Jr. of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son John "Gray" Currin, III; and his parents, John "Jack" Gray Currin, Sr. and Willie Mae Daniel Currin. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Neal Currin; his daughter Jennie Rhyne Hendrix (Zane Hendrix) of Winston-Salem, NC; his grandchildren, Jack Currin, Nora Currin, Sarah Cate Hendrix, Watt Hendrix and Ty Hendrix; and his brother Crawford Currin (Becky Currin).

Alamance Community College: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Cone - Alamance Regional Endowed Fund at Alamance Community College, c/o The ACC Foundation, Post Office Box 8000, Graham, NC 27253.
