He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Edna. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gilliam; his children, John Jr., Angie and Dave; his grandchildren, Rainey, Sierra, Forrest, Scott and Anna; and his sisters, Linda Zeller and Rose Marie Morgan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:45 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Ridge Church Cemetery (115 Altamahaw Union Ridge Rd, Burlington, NC 27217).
