He is survived by: his wife Elaine Wright Hester; his son John Hester, Jr. (Justine) of Somerset, NJ; his sister Fay Hester Taylor (William) of Jamaica Queens, NY; and his grandchildren, John Kerel Hester of New Jersey and Janelle Elaine Hester of New Jersey.
