It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lewis Simpson (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson Simpson and Thelma Louise Webster; and his half-brother Wayne Webster. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Tate Simpson; his children, Troy Simpson (Carolina), Dale Simpson (Regina) and Suzanne Allen (Chris); his grandchildren, Tyler Simpson, Cody Simpson (Hannah), Cassidy Simpson, Chelsea Simpson, Shawn Simpson and River Allen; his great grandchildren, Carter and Caylee Simpson; and his siblings, Margaret McCann and Gary Simpson (Faye). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
