He was predeceased by: his parent Leighton Holt Patterson. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Laverne Hughes Patterson of Burlington; his family, Nascar and Jimmy Johnson; his wife Ann Page Patterson; his children, Jacob Page Patterson and Anna "Anna Kat" Kathryn Patterson of Mooresville; his siblings, Anita Patterson Watkins (Jimmy) of Florida, Sherry Patterson Hinshaw (Robert) of Burlington and Aaron Holt Patterson (Kay) of Burlington; and his siblings' children, Michael Watkins, Clayton Hinshaw (Kelly), Amanda Linton (J. R.), Christy Hinkle (Tim), Heather Patterson and Ashley Morris (Jeff). He is also survived by 5 great nephews and 5 great nieces.
