He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pearce and Elsie Mae Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Reel Pearce; his children, Kimberly Ann Oliver (Shawn) and Joseph William Pearce, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kathleen Stewart (Jacob), Hannah Oliver and Hunter Oliver; his great grandchild Calan Stewart; and his brothers, Billy Pearce (Ruth) and Wayne Pearce. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Magnolia Cemetery (201 N Oak Ave, Elon, NC 27244). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
