She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Beekman and Delight Beekman. She is survived by: her pet Dusty; her sister Jan; her brother-in-law Steve; her niece Erica; her caregiver Tracey; her friend Erin; and her niece Lorelei.
When the COVID-19 pandemic shut down group gatherings, she refused to let the game succumb and invented a new way of playing bingo by posting numbers in the hallways daily, with prizes safely delivered outside winners' doors.
