She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille G. Venable and Clarence E. Venable. She is survived by: her husband Tom of Burlington, NC; her children, Joi Shaffer of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Mitchell of Manakin-Sabot, VA and Kathy Schill of Easley, SC; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Suzanne Arnold, Ryan P. Farrar and Ian M. Farrar. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
