We announce the death of Joyce Marie Walker (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 89. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Berkley Howard and Mattie Josephine Saul Inge; her spouse Lonnie Walker; her sons, Timothy Lee Rogers and David Anthony Rogers; and her siblings, Faye Hartley, Bob Inge and Ken Inge.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Marie Preddy (Allen) and Jodi Annette Moody (Ricky); her grandchildren, Christopher Hurst, Katie Osborne (Kraig), Jacob Danieley (Elizabeth), Chris Moody (Nellary) and Dustin Moody; and her great grandchildren, Xander McAnaw, Memphis Osborne, Gryffin Osborne, Jaden Danieley, Lilly Danieley, Maisie Danieley, Branch Moody, Norris Moody, Banks Moody and Aven Moody.
