She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Hobart Simmons and Eliza Harrelson Simmons; her husband Mac; her son Jeffrey Todd Amick; and her siblings, Patricia Rudd, Audrey Hall, Elaine Dabbs and Kenneth Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughter Christie Howell Williams (Shawn); her granddaughters, Kelsey Toombs (Aaron) and Chloe Williams; and her great grandchild Todd Toombs. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM and at 1:45 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
