She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Robinson and Susan Slade Robinson. She is survived by: her son Anthony D. Robinson; her goddaughters, Daniell Cannon and Teresa Thompson; and her siblings, Dreama Robinson, Verna J. Griffin, Phadumar "Rob" Robinson (Rosalyn) and James Williams Robinson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Julia requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to fight domestic violence.
