With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keith Blackwell of Burlington, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2022 at the age of 54. He was predeceased by: his father Pete Daye; and his grandparents, Iola Blackwell, John Henry Blackwell and Robert Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Karie" Blackwell; his daughters, Yolanda Miller of Florida, Keileigh Blackwell of Burlington and Jade Blackwell of Burlington; his siblings, Cedric Blackwell of Burlington, Truie White of Burlington, Gloria Mitchell (Norris) of Burlington and Latisha Blackwell of Burlington; his grandchildren, Dereyon, Armarein and Kayden; his uncle Willie Daye (Terrie) of Burlington; his grandmother Louise Daye; his brother-in-law Joseph Edwards (Crystal); his siblings' children, Marquis Blackwell, Christy Blackwell, Mark Yellock (Dominique), Ashley Fullmore (T'avaraz) and Malike Bogues; and his close friends, Larnell McGee and John Wright. He is also survived by relatives, family and friends.
