He was predeceased by: his parents, Berton Royer and Noreen Royer; and his siblings, Jerry Whitcomb, Lawrence Royer, James Royer, Sandra Poutre and Maryanne Royer.
He is survived by: his wife Claire Royer; his children, Katina Coffin (Todd Coffin), Kenneth Royer (Shelley Royer) and Kevin Royer (Kelly Royer); his grandchildren, Matthew Royer, Tyler Royer, Grace Royer, Victoria Coffin and Abbie Royer; his great grandchild Leon Royer; his sisters, Beverly Hall and Theresa Perreault (Bruno Perreault); and his sister-in-law Heidi Royer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Baynes Baptist Church (1757 Baynes Rd, Burlington, NC 27217).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that guests bring a food dish to share as we gather to honor Ken, celebrate his life, and share cherished memories with family and friends.
