It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Raymond Sheppard of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond P. Sheppard and Ester Elizabeth Gravley; his former wife Doris Jean Sheppard; and his close friend Flora Mae Gravley. He is survived by: his children, Sammy Gravley, Larry Sheppard, Joseph Reid and Virginia Martinez; and his brothers, Ralph Sheppard and Garland Sheppard. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
