He is survived by: his children, Gary McCrae of Texas, Lawrence Junior Thaxton II of Burlington, Cierra McCrae of McLeansville, NC and Lauren Thaxton of Burlington; his mother Christine Wright; his siblings, Cedric Deon Wright, Lisa Wright of Burlington, Tiffany Wright of Burlington and Yolanda Moore of Burlington; and his grandchildren, A'nyjah Thaxton-Richardson, Londyn Ross, Zhavia Thaxton-Richardson, Jordyn Lea, Nariah Thaxton and Legaci Thaxton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
