Griffis; his children, Richard Griffis Sr., Rodney Griffis (Angie), Ray Griffis Sr. (Kim), Rosita Griffis McCrae (Loris), Debbie Griffis Johnson (Al), Tina Griffis Paul (Rodney Sr) and Rita Griffis; his siblings, Sandy Wayne Griffis, Elaine G. Mentzy, Linda G. Williamson (Jackie), Kay W. Griffis, Jacqueline Griffis, Blondine G. McAdams and Vanessa G. Packingham (Graves); and his aunts, Euna Mae G. Oliver, Flora Griffis, Eleanor Johnson Morrow (Benjamin, Sr.) and Maxine Johnson. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
