It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Liberal Manuel Teixeira (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Jose Teixeira, Jr. and Eliza Matos Teixeira; his former wives, Gloria Teixeira and Luisa Arruda Mello Teixeira; and his sisters, Ilda Teixeira and Lourdes Teixeira.

He is survived by: his son Michael Teixeira (Irina Lopez) of Mebane.
