Linda Hardie Perdue Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Linda Hardie Perdue of Burlington, North Carolina. Linda, born on April 13, 1941, passed away on June 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alton Hardie and Ann Hardie; her husband Dr. Hobert Lee Perdue Sr.; and her siblings, Debra Hardie Felts, George Bobby Hardie and Randy Scott Hardie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Perdue Batchelor (Stanton Dale Batchelor) of Cary and Laura Jane Perdue of Burlington; her stepchildren, Jodie Perdue Gee and Hobert Lee Perdue Jr. of Elon; her brother Danny Carlton Hardie (Leslie Smith Hardie) of Burlington; and her grandchildren, Ethan Dale Batchelor of Boone and Natalie Anne Batchelor of Cary. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, and many grandcats.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) or to the Humane Society of Alamance County in her honor.
