He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Boone and Sally Boone. He is survived by: his children, Hantz Boone (Joan), Ronald "Ronnie" Boone (Laverne) and Phyllis Boone Bennett (Alonzo); his godchildren, Tonya Kimber and Joshua Gattis; his son Dennis Boone; and his siblings, Walter Boone, Phillip "Bo" Boone, Myrtle Shoffner and Minnie Gilchrist. He is also survived by three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
