She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Love and Ida Evans Love; her husband Deacon Leon Ruffin; her parents-in-law, George and Pauline Ruffin; her siblings, Daisy Richmond (Sunny), Annie Alston (Dillard), Edna Love, Lillian "Mam" Love, Mae Clarke Love, Charlie Carr (Luvenia), William "Big William" Love and Alex Love (Marie); and her brothers-in-law, George Ruffin Jr., Johnnie Cleveland Ruffin, James Ruffin, Bobby Ruffin (Jennifer) and Burley Ruffin.
She is survived by: her son Antonio Ruffin (Mona); her grandchildren, Sedrick Rogers, Sedrian Rogers, Antoinette Ruffin, Kendrick Ruffin, Kendrell Ruffin and Kendell Ruffin; her great grandchildren, Keilan Rogers, Ariana Rogers, Kedrick Rogers, Selaya Rogers, Leyona Lee, Kedrian Rogers, Lariyah Lee, Kesslyn Rogers, Jackson Rogers and Kasley Rogers; her great great grandchildren, Jayden Millard, Peace Rogers, Eden Grace Rogers and Kendrell Ruffin Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Willie Ruffin, J. T. Ruffin, Hurley Ruffin, Linwood Ruffin, Jeffrey Ruffin, Fredrick Ruffin, Hazel Tapp, Elvinia Ruffin, Patricia Ruffin and Mary Ruffin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kimes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (2027 NC-119, Mebane, NC 27302).
