He is survived by: his wife Carmen Melgoza Rodriguez; his sons, Manuel Melgoza Rodriguez, Ivan Melgoza Rodriguez and Noel Melgoza Rodriguez; his daughter-in-law Angelina Melgoza; his granddaughter Eliana Melgoza; and his parents, Celia Magaña Cortez and Lucio Melgoza Mojica. He is also survived by six siblings.
