She was predeceased by: her husband Luis Anibal Perez; her parents, Pietrantonio Gruosso and Maria Carmela Monaco; and her siblings, Vita Crescenza Gruosso, Lucia Gruosso and Nicolas Gruosso.
She is survived by: her close friends, Luis Alberto Perez and Ronda Simpson Clark; her grandchildren, Lucas Alejandro Perez of Burlington, Lela, Sebastian Ramon Perez of Lyford, Texas, Paul Rafael Perez of Houston, Texas and Santino Roman Perez of Lyford, Texas.; her friends, Maria, Vilma Rossato, Raquel, Bob Held, Minerva, Victor Jeffries, Pablo Carrion, Ernesto, Ester Maria Benbassat, Juan, Rita Bernacchi, Heber and Betty Blengini; her caregivers, Karen, Anna, Kim, Jordan, Rosa, Jennifer, Diedra and Gail; Devon Collins of Greensboro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
