“My sincere condolences to Marie's family and friends. I am a long time friend of Marie, living in Canada. However, I was born and raised in N.J. and N.Y. I used to winter in Mebane, N.C. for ten years, and met Marie in the neighborhood where I stayed. We became good friends, and enjoyed shopping, or having lunch with our other lady friends. Marie loved to crochet and made beautiful scarves, doilies, afgans and baby blankets. I will miss her fun loving spirit, and our bi weekly phone calls.”
