She is survived by: her children, Gregory Lamont Currie of Greensboro, NC, Boris Darnell Matthews of Burlington, NC, Shernetta Matthews of Burlington, NC, Denise Currie Galbreath (Artis) of Charlotte, NC and Kay Matthews Bigelow of Charlotte, NC; her aunt Wanda Vaughn Clark of Greensboro, NC; and her daughter-in-law Gilda Liggins Currie of Graham, NC. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
