She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Bradsher and Louise Bradsher; her husband James G. Mims; her siblings, Odie Bradsher (Mildred), Jess Bradsher (Ida), Robert Bradsher (Dorothy) and Bessie Chrisp (James); and her siblings-in-law, Rosa Mae Burton (Carnell) and Lloyd Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Denise Mims, James M. Mims (Valma) of Suffolk and Rodney Keith Mims (Stacey) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her siblings, Denise Wright of Cedar Grove and Ronnie McAdoo of Hillsborough; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Smith of Mebane and Peggy Williams of Granite Quarry. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
