She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clyde and Nancy Mabel Braxton Pugh; her husband Marvin Edgar Payne; her siblings, June Carey and Ben Pugh; and her son-in-law Robert Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Payne Jordan and Russell Payne (Joyce); her granddaughters, Elizabeth Knight (Clay), Rebecca Lewis (Ian), Stephanie Strong (Jordan) and Emma Beckwith (Travis); and her sister Isabel Morrow. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
