She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Delano "Doc" Millaway and Bertha Ellen Isley Millaway; and her son Dr. Dorma Earl "D. E." Holt, Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Dorma Earl Holt, Sr.; her children, Pamela Holt Buchanan Johnson (Jerry) of Burlington and Timothy Millaway Holt (Kathryn) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Michael Glen Buchanan, Jr. (Mary) and Melissa Marie Buchanan; her sister Suzanne Seymour; and her nieces, Frances Guthrie Ingold (Johnny), Ellen Guthrie Thomas (Randy), JoAnn Seymour Moss and Ruth Ellen Seymour Thompson (Dale). She is also survived by six great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
She also taught Sunday School, helped with fundraisers, started the Outreach Foundation and helped start the Easter Drive at Friendship Church.
