He was predeceased by: his mother Jennie Perkins Sharpe; his wife Josephine Campbell Sharpe; and his father Lewis Sharpe. He is survived by: his children, Anne Ferguson (James "Jim" Gordon) and Michael Sharpe of Gibsonville; and his grandchildren, Steven Ferguson and Kathryn Hollowell.
