With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Spoon (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Michael and Ruth Evelyn Staley Spoon. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Trish" Spoon; his sons, Michael Ragan (Laura) of Burlington, Charles Ragan (Susana) of Elon and Richard Ragan of Alexandria, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jordan Ragan (Savana) and Chris Ragan (MaeKenna); his great grandchild William "Will" Lewis Ragan; his brother Joe Frank Spoon of Burlington; his brothers-in-law, Wayne Lewis (Deborah) and Charles Lewis (Barb); his nephew Nathan Spoon; and his nieces, Morgan Vila (Eddie) and Kendal Fogleman (Wes).
