He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Glenn Eckard Sr. and Leonora Rudisill Eckard. He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Eckard (Diane), Kenneth Eckard and Rebecca McNeely (Terry); his wife Beverly Whitener Eckard; his children, Tim Eckard (Jonna), William Eckard (Beverly) and Lynette Funk (Shaun); his grandchildren, Kimberly Swisher (Chaise), Lauren Arrowood (Michael), Danielle Parker, Zach Funk, Rebecca Stewart (David) and Anna Rice (Thadd); and his great grandchildren, Brooke, Cannon, Cohen, Parker and Blake.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Community Church (609 Trail Two, Burlington, NC 27215).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alamance Charitable Foundation.
