She was predeceased by: her parents, William Glenn Slaughter and Catherine Holt Slaughter; and her siblings, William A. Slaughter, Robert H. Slaughter and Polly S. Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy R. Sharpe; her daughters, Tracy Sharpe Agnew of Graham and Kelly Sharpe Bowman (Clint) of Burlington; her grandsons, Nathan Tyler Yarbrough (Tara), Blake Agnew (Meredith) and Dalton Yarbrough; her sisters, Laura S. Phillips (Ritchie) and Pamela S. Faucette; and her sister-in-law Ann Slaughter. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
