It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Darlene Watkins Perkins (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Lonnis Gentry; her siblings, Marjorie Tuggle and Lonnis "Lonnie" Gentry Watkins, Jr.; and her granddaughter Macy Pettigrew. She is survived by: her husband Charles Winston Perkins, Sr.; and her children, Todd Perkins of Burlington, Rev. Charles "Chuck" Perkins, Jr. (Tracy) of Burlington and Teri Pettigrew (Kevin) of Burlington. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
