Nancy Crumpton Eagle Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Crumpton Eagle (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Deward Clifton Baldwin; her husband Harold Eugene Eagle; her parents, Ruby Apple Crumpton and Witcher Mead Crumpton; her siblings, Reuben Mead Crumpton and Caren Crumpton Walker (Eugene); and her son-in-law Jimmy Combs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denane Baldwin Owen (Harold) and Lisa Baldwin Byrd (Ronnie); her granddaughters, Dr. Christina Owen Beck (Chad), Constance Owen McCall (Ryne) and Amber Nicole Combs; her great grandchildren, Jacob Owen Beck, Cameron William Beck and Finn Owen McCall; her stepgrandchildren, Matthew Brooke Pierce (Kiva), Amelia, Evangeline and Issac; and her close friend Dixie Sizemore.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (1346 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
