She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Archibald Willard Reeser, Sr. and Mary Jane Vickroy Reeser; her husband Joseph Sinclair Ragsdale, Jr.; her brother A. W. Reeser, Jr. (Bud); her stepsisters, B. W. Carter (Jo) and D. L. Sumner, Sr. (Pat); and her brother-in-law W. R. Ragsdale, Sr..

She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ragsdale Bridges (Barry); her stepsons, David Whitehurst Ragsdale (Marsha) and Joseph Sinclair Ragsdale, III (Linda); her grandsons, Reese Bridges and Adam Bridges; her stepgrandchildren, Forrest Ragsdale, Dan Bailey, Katie McNamara, William McNamara and Michael McNamara; and her sisters-in-law, Annie Jo Ivey Ragsdale and Rinda Law Blackburn. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
