She is survived by: her son Antonio Americus Alston; her former husband Pearlie Alston Jr.; her siblings, Chester A. Shaw, James C. Shaw, Evelyn D. Jackson (Dallas) and Ellvenia Campbell Shaw; and her grandchildren, Tarik A. Alston and Connor A. Alston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
