We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2023, at the age of 88, Nell Barker Gordon (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Leon Barker and Bessie Mae Pryor; her spouse Odis Earl Gordon; and her siblings, Donald Barker, Pete Barker and Joan Richardson.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Kendall Gordon and Phillip "Phil" Gordon (Minkyong "Mindy"); her grandson Houston Dean Gordon (Monica); her extended family Lynn Green Morgan; and her sisters-in-law, Wanda Barker and Glenda Barker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Stony Creek Presbyterian Church, 2140 Stoney Creek Church Road, Burlington, NC 27217.
