She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Odell Thaxton; her parents, Brasby Ernest Johnson and Callie Stephenson Johnson; her son Mike Thaxton; and her siblings, Donald Johnson, Ronald Johnson and Royline Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Kent Thaxton (Camille), Kim Campbell (Mike) and Amy Baker (Will); her daughter-in-law Faye Thaxton; and her grandchildren, Matthew Thaxton, Melissa Thaxton, Cristin Hightower, Allen Thaxton, Heather Gerni and Lea Gerni Marcopolos. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
