He is survived by: his sisters, Glenda Parker (Nate) of Jamaica, NY, Patricia Corbett (Charlie) of Durham, NC, Bonnie Melvin (Richard) of Fayetteville, NC, Peggy Barr of Burlington, NC and Deborah Murphy (Dwight) of Greensboro, NC; his aunt Willie Nickerson (Neil Horton) of Hillsborough, NC; and his sister Gayle Poteat of Burlington, NC.
