He was predeceased by: his mother Billie Sue Miles. He is survived by: his father Charles Elbert Barnhardt; his sons, Brantley Barnhardt (Paige) and Weston Barnhardt (Laura); his grandchildren, Charlotte and Bryce Barnhardt; his brothers, Charles Barnhardt (Catherine) and Harold Barnhardt (Joni); his siblings-in-law, Karen O. Garrison (Ronald), Helen O. Triplett and Kerney Edgar "Tray" Overman III (Lisa); and his wife Kay Overman Barnhardt. He is also survived by his family, and he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Calendar Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Calendar Lowe Funeral Home Chapel (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
