She was predeceased by: her parents, John William and Lydia Long Sutton; and her siblings, Ruby Freshwater, Edgar, Boyd and Melvin Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Connie T. Horner (Dan Allison), Caren Y. Tatum, W. Craig Tatum and Wendy M. Hedrick (Craig); her grandchildren, Julie, Corey, Caitlin and Alex; her sister Alma Kernodle; and her friend Luther Murray.
