He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Simpson Clark and Royce "Jack" Hurley Clark; his grandparents, Bertha Sutton Simpson, William Sanford Simpson, Lucy Ellington Clark and John William Clark; and his brother-in-law Wade Lee Von Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Patrice Kimrey Clark; his daughter Tracy Clark Grubb (Jim); his sister Donna Gayle Johnson; his sibling's children, Lori Ann Johnson Richardson (Robert) and Clark Lee Johnson (Lanie); his great-nephew Evan Wade Johnson (Jessica); Sutton Wade Johnson and Jayce Alexander Aline.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rich & Thompson Funeral & Cremation Service (306 Glenwood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
